The Design (0:18)
This 116500LN is encased in 40mm of stainless steel with black Cerachrom ceramic bezel surrounding a white dial on a stainless steel Oyster bracelet. Features include hours, minutes, small seconds, and chronograph.
The Dial (0:44)
With a stark white gloss lacquer dial, this watch is a bit dressier than the black dial version. It also has black registers and black printing outward, making it easier to read the seconds and fractions of a second. Lastly, it boasts a white gold Rolex crown, white gold indices, and white gold hands, all resisting tarnish and oxidation over time.
The Case & Bezel (2:01)
It has the same basic case shape, lines, and dimension as the Zenith powered-automatic from 1988, so this is an enduring shape. It has screw-down crowns and chronograph pushers, and is 100m water-resistant. Additionally, the bezel is made of Cerachrom ceramic that gives a bit of contrast from the dial and case metal.
The Movement (3:11)
Powered by the caliber 4130, this Daytona has a 3-day power reserve and is bidirectional automatic winding. Interestingly, it was one of the first Rolex movements to use a rotor bearing for the winding rotor, making it more shock-resistant.
