We are back this week with the last episode of Market Wrap before Watches & Wonders so of course Mike is laying down some predictions. But first, as always, he starts us off with what we bought this week. First up is a beautiful Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph in rose gold with a blue dial (ref. 26331OR), a Rolex GMT-Master II with the "Pepsi" bezel and meteorite dial (ref. 126719BLRO), and finally the Patek Philippe Grand Complications Perpetual Calendar Chronograph with a stunning blue dial (ref. 5270G-019).
With one of the biggest watch events right around the corner, some brands have already begun to release their new models ahead of time. Mike dives into some of these releases and highlights the new Royal Oak models with green dials. He praises the new watches but wonders what else Audemars Piguet has up their sleeve. He also discusses the new Omega Seamasters and a whole slue of Bell & Ross models (though questions the inspiration of their new GMT).
Moving from the present to the future, Mike also attempts to make some predictions along with hopes of what we might see at the event. This includes potential new Perpetual and Odysseus additions to the A. Lange & Sohne lines along with how Patek Philippe might refresh their selections. Finally he takes on the heavy hitter that is Rolex by contemplating the future of the Air King and Milgauss lines as well as updates to the Explorer II and Daytona models.
To wrap it up, he breaks down the top 5 most visited watches on the WatchBox website and finds some surprises by way of the Rolex Datejust, Rolay Day-Date with champagne dial and diamond imbeces, Audemars Piguet Chronograph, and more!
