The 2018 Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Chronograph Q9028471 is encased in stainless steel surrounding a black dial on a brown leather strap. 2018 marks the 50th anniversary of the definitive Jaeger LeCoultre Polaris Diving Alarm. The 1968 Polaris established the essential design language later employed on the Tribute to Polaris, the Master Compressor family, the Master Compressor Diving series, the Master Compressor Navy SEALs, and the Amvox family of watches. For 2018, the Polaris has been reborn as an entire family of luxury watches including diving watches, the Polaris Memovox Diving Alarm, the Polaris Chronograph World Time, and this Polaris Chronograph. For the first time, Jaeger LeCoultre has offered its caliber 750-series manufacture chronograph movement with a display case back. The caliber features a 65-hour power reserve, a column wheel and vertical clutch, and a tungsten winding mass. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, tachymeter, and chronograph. The watch measures 42mm in diameter, 12.1mm in thickness, and 48.6mm from lug-to-lug.
