Dr. Albert Coombs is a passionate watch collector from the DC area, and his fascination with these mechanical objects began when he was around 7 years old. His intrigue with high-end horology kicked up a few notches at a pivotal moment in his career, as he received a Rolex GMT from a friend to celebrate his dental boards. In this special Collector Conversation, Dr. Coombs sits down with C’Q at WatchBox’s headquarters and retraces his early experiences in watch collecting, quality time spent with family, and the sentimental side of this horological hobby.
